But here are the two things that should be included in 99.5 percent of your e-mails:

Your business is selling. Your readers understand that, and you should, too. Rather than resenting the frequency of e - mails, our readers seem grateful for the opportunity to know us better and to receive useful offers from us. The occasional reader who is ready to move on unsubscribes from our lists, but the overwhelming number of readers remain on our lists, open our e - mails, and buy from us.

Articles are a terrifi c way to get traffi c to your web site. Think about a variety of topics that will be of interest to your readers, and write a series of 500 - to 700 - word articles. Be creative with your headlines, as many people will only read the headline and skim the actual article. Your headline should include the keyword or keywords you want to use. At the bottom of the article include a contact box with your name, your web site, and the offer of an ethical bribe.
